While fulfilling the requirements for a graduate degree, Ronald Ravenell authored and successfully defended thesis research on students transitioning from alternative education programs, back to mainstream education. Based on research findings, Ronald founded Roundball Education Inc. to help youth and their families achieve inclusive prosperity and quality life through prevention education, family services, and community engagement. As a spirited professional with a background in education, civil and social services, financial markets, and resource development, Ronald continues to strive to empower youth while strengthening communities.

Our Programs
Youth Programs - We use evidence-based curricula to teach violence prevention, drug prevention, life-skills training, and positive youth development. We offer trauma-informed alternative activities to help participants recover from issues related to post traumatic stress.
Family Support Services - We use an evidence-based curriculum to offer positive parenting strategies, case management services, and family forums. We rely on counseling professionals to provide individual and family therapy.
Community Development - We create opportunities in different communities to foster social engagement, civic engagement, effective community coalitions and other innovative ways to help sustain and build thriving neighborhoods in society.

- Further development of Project PELLAS and other operations. The Prevention Education, Life-Skills Learning, and Alternative Activities in a Safe Space Project uses an evidenced-based curriculum to offer prevention education to youth from underserved communities.
Philadelphia, April 10, 2026 Roundball Education Inc., a prevention education, family support and community engagement organization developing a project to help youth compete in a global economy, today announced that it will receive a $7.5 million milestone payment under its verbal agreement with an anonymous supporter following selection and approval of a model that uses evidence-based curriculum to offer prevention education, family support and community engagement. Roundball Education Inc. expects to receive the contribution in May 2026.

Terms of the agreement will be shared during quarterly report review. A snapshot of our strategic plan will convey performance, growth and insights. Performance metrics, marketing and resource development insights, operational highlights, and risk analysis will be discussed.
